1) Once you have the means to save a filled in PDF form, click on the PDF link to the right..
2) After the form has loaded on your screen; there are several ways to save it onto your computer. One way is to right click on the form and select “Save”, then save it on your hard drive.
3) From your hard drive open up the file which will then open with your PDF program.
4) Fill in all the information you wish, click on file, click on “Save As” and save under a different name; like your name 911. Doing this will allow you to save a blank copy of “My Flash Alert” for others like a spouse, son or daughter to also use.
5) Fill in the ID Card on the last page and print it on card stock. It is in a standard business card size so you can cut it out and laminate it. Carry it in your wallet or purse to help alert rescuers to your flash drive.
6) Plug in your flash drive and follow any instructions. Then copy the file you created, example “your name 911” to your flash drive. Then just keep it updated.
