Wipe Out MS
My Flash Alert Page 2

So what do health care professional and rescuers say? "All have said it’s a great idea”. So what does one doctor say about carrying a flash or jump drive with medical alert information, “I wish all my patients did that, it would mean that I would have more accurate information”. This would be even truer if you were seeing more than one doctor. He went on by saying he could plug it into the computer in the treatment room and he could review it with the patient.

We recently in talked to a nurse that treats patients with MS and asked her what she thought? Her answer was very short, “everyone should have one of these and this will save lives”.

So what is the cost? Well you can get a flash or jump drive loaded with a database that you fill in the information for $30 and up. A plain flash drive can run between $5 and &15. We bought a 4 gigabyte for $10 just the other day at an office supply store. You can use the attached PDF file linked in the right column to fill in your information and save it to your flash drive for free

.

What You Will Need.

1) A flash drive as mentioned above; you can get one at many department or office supply stores.

2) A program that will let you fill in forms and save data in Adobe. You will need Adobe Standard or higher, other programs like Nuance PDF Professional 7, PDF Creator, or from Avanquest Lightning PDF. Another option that is free to download is Nuance PDF Reader, besides having the form  filler ability it takes up less disc space. NOTE: With basic Adobe Reader, you cannot save a filled in form.
